Clarkston is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in America — and home to thousands of refugee and immigrant families living one crisis away from losing everything. Clarkston Cares walks alongside them with direct, relational support so they can stay housed, stay connected, and move forward.
Clarkston Cares is a program of Remerge that provides hands-on, one-on-one support to immigrants and refugees in Clarkston, Georgia. With over 44 apartment complexes and thousands of renters in the area, many families are just one unexpected crisis away from losing their home and the community they depend on.
We don’t just write checks. We walk alongside people — getting to know their story, understanding their needs, and working with them toward lasting stability.

Every dollar goes directly to a real family facing a real crisis. Here is what your support makes possible:

Keeps the lights on and the water running for a family facing a sudden income gap — preventing an eviction notice before it starts.

Fills the gap between what a family earns and what they owe — buying time to rebuild stability without losing their home.

Covers immediate emergency costs AND supports 1:1 coaching to help a family build employment, community connections, and long-term security.

Community members, landlords, and neighbors connect us with families in crisis. We also hear directly from those in need.

We don’t process cases — we build trust. Our team meets with each person to understand their full situation before determining how we can help.

Once approved, funds are raised through our network and paid directly to landlords, utility companies, or service providers — no cash, full accountability.
We build a path forward.
A personalized stability plan is created with each client — focused on employment, supportive relationships, and long-term resources so this is the last time they need crisis support.
