Experiential Service Learning
Highschool, College, Adult
$400/person (6 day experience)
includes food and housing
Join us in the historic Sweet Auburn neighborhood of Atlanta for an experiential service-learning opportunity. Rather than “fix” the poor or pop in-and-out for a work project, we invite your group to connect with neighbors of different backgrounds and stories, participate in the ongoing hands-on work of Remerge, gain a deeper understanding of poverty and reconciliation, and engage in meaningful conversations and activities.
Service-learning experiences are intense crash courses in joining lives across divisions. Learn mindsets and skills for developing reciprocal relationships and engaging in the practical work of reconciliation. This experiential learning opportunity will also guide you in developing an action plan for transforming your own community.
All groups must have a minimum of at least eight (8) people, with at least one member age 21 or older to serve as the team leader.
Week-long trips are $400 per person. A deposit of $500 is required to secure your trip dates after your group has been approved. The balance is due on arrival.
Due to the nature and intensity of this experience a certain level of maturity is necessary. Your group will be engaging with persons and places that need to be taken seriously and treated with caution and respect. We require that all
participants be of at least high school age unless previously approved by Remerge staff.
Medical Release Forms
Please be aware of your responsibilities in securing a parent permission slip and medical release form.
Release of Liability
Upon your arrival please provide Remerge with a Release of Liability form for every person. (Form provided
